Wells Fargo donates $50,000 to support Canadians facing hunger
Grants part of company-wide effort to feed families in need during holiday season
TORONTO – December 14, 2020 – As part of its holiday campaign ‘Many Hearts. One Community.’ Wells Fargo is donating C$50,000 to support Canadians facing hunger and to help our communities meet the increase of people seeking assistance during the holiday season.
“For many, this will be a challenging holiday season, and at Wells Fargo, we’re working to make the holidays a bit brighter,” said Jeahnette Cavaliere, Chief Operating Officer and incoming Regional Manager of Wells Fargo Canada. “From providing food for people in need, to supporting businesses, and supporting our military service members, the holidays are about hope, gratitude, and family. We recognize that giving is not just needed one month out of the year — it’s something we’re committed to year-round — and we’re heartened by the resilience and strength of the communities in which we live and operate.”
Through the United Way Worldwide, as part of our global outreach, Wells Fargo is supporting four nonprofits in the communities where the company operates across Canada.

- First United, Vancouver, BC - $12,500
- Good Shepherd, Toronto, ON - $12,500
- Moisson Montréal, Montréal, QC - $12,500
